About the Job:

This position is a full-time role that involves assisting our Project Management Office in managing and coordinating project teams including Superintendents, Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers. As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will be involved in all phases of construction from inception to close out using processes and protocols that adhere to our company’s standards and expectations. The Construction Project Coordinator reports to the Project Management Office Team and works in a supporting role for both office and field teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Project Management Office, Senior Management, and Field teams.

  • Assist in soliciting proposals from subcontractors, vendors and suppliers, follow-up as necessary. Requestproposalrevisions & invoices from trades, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Assist in other preconstruction activities including conducting takeoffs to support the project estimate, schedule, and sales documentation development. Work within Bluebeam to assist in mark up of architectural drawings.

  • Responsible for new account procedures including project portal set up, assist with Decision Matrix development & dispersal, and execute trades, vendors, and subcontractors' contracts.

  • Clarify the scope with clients, engineers, construction managers, and architects to produce an accurate list of project specifications, including manual labor needs and necessary materials. Relay project specifications and updates to necessary trade partners and collaborators.

  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures. Distribute subcontractor/vendor change orders and ensure documents are executed

  • Organize, attend, and participate in project team meetings as appropriate; prepare necessary materials/documents, and follow-up on important actions/decisions from meetings

  • Place and track purchased orders for materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment; coordinate returns when needed.

  • Provide support throughout End of Job procedures including Project Manual compilation, punch list coordination and execution, and coordinating warranty and small projects’ tasks directly with the warranty superintendent and clients when necessary.

  • Provide basic office administrative support including labor schedule coordination, ordering, and replenishing office/field supplies and answering the company phone.

  • Work within Smartsheet to assist in managing project portals, schedules, and Decision Matrix reports.

Additional Requirements

Individual must be able to perform job duties safely and productively for a minimum of 8 hours per day. All safety rules and regulations; including the use and wearing of all required personal protective equipment and clothing, and safe lifting techniques, must be followed
